Continuing from section Description(BT-24-Procedure): B.2.3. Water supply pipes shall be of polyethylene PE 100, SDR 17 with a nominal pressure of PN10 or higher and comply with BDS EN 12 201. The colour shall be black with a blue stripe or entirely blue. An all-black colour is also allowed. Connection of PE pipes shall be effected by welds and/or weldable sockets. The connection of the new PE pipes to the existing pipes should be filled with wire or universal flange adapters made of ductile cast iron. Polyethylene tubes and fittings shall be made of polyethylene PE 100, PN10. The connection of the PE pipes with SK should be flanged, so the PE pipe should be welded pre-flange connection / flange tip / and to install a released flange. B.2.4. … etc.) shall be of PE 100 according to BDS EN 12 201 or equivalent. The fitting parts with fast mechanical connection shall be made of polypropylene or polyethylene. Welding fittings to be made of PE100. Each fitting should be supplied in a separate package and with a bar code that contains full information on how to perform the weld, as well as the time needed to cool the weld. Fittings shall have a structural stop indicating the depth of penetration of the pipe. The fitting parts of ductile cast iron, such as flange adaptors for connection to the existing water supply network, universal wire, combi flanges, disassembly connections, etc. shall be from GGG 40 or GGG 50 and have an epoxy coating. The seals must be from EPDM. B.2.5. Stopcocks Stopcocks on the network are provided on all connections with existing water mains, as well as deviations for future connections.
