The subject matter of the contract is: ‘Selection of a construction and installation works contractor for a site: Restoration of the conductivity of the riverbed of the Brestova River in the urbanised area of the village of Vesselinovo, Smyadovo Municipality.’ Cleaning of the entire design length of the riverbed and floodplains should be carried out in a differentiated manner. Priority is given to removing fallen and inclined trees and others that create the greatest obstacle in the way of water flow. To improve the overall roughness along the trench, it is envisaged to create two consecutive longitudinal average slopes, which essentially describe the average slope of the river in the section under study. … crosses in a transverse direction. In the transverse profiles, the connection between the cleaned deposits in the stream and the terraces is performed with a slope of 1:2. Only in separate exceptions, in which the boundary of the property is located near, a slope to the coastal terraces 1:1.5 is used, which practically avoids generating a large excavation mass. The initial and final profile of the cleaning area practically fits smoothly with the natural slope along the length of the river. In single profiles, leveling of the bottom through a minimum bulk layer is provided, practically using the material from neighboring excavations. The earth alignment material in the case of a thin embankment shall contain at least 50% rock fraction. Cleaning of vegetation is divided into two zones. Zone 1 – Blonde/bottom of active trough (within main stream) • Zone width – 7.0 m • Vegetation is completely removed.
