Contractual basis Common delivery and packaging standards shall be applied to ensure delivery of the goods without damage. The delivery must be accompanied by a delivery note; in the case of several deliveries, each delivery must contain a delivery note. b. Delivery The scope of delivery of the partial lots 1 to 5 consists exclusively of price-bound books, the partial lots 6 and 7 exclusively of non-price-bound articles. These are currently available and German-language titles selected by the Reading Foundation from a pedagogical point of view. The media packages are delivered free of charge to the respective address of the 281 facilities in total. The Contractor must provide a unique shipment number (tracking number) for each delivery and inform the respective supplied facilities of this shipment number by e-mail from dispatch. In addition, the AN is to record the shipment numbers bundled in a central overview and make them available to the AG promptly after dispatch. In the case of surcharges, the necessary data of the facilities will be transmitted to the Contractor together with the assignment (delivery address, contact details). The personal data transmitted may only be used for the purpose of order processing. Any further processing or transfer is inadmissible. After conclusion of the contract execution, the data must be deleted, as far as there are no legal retention obligations. The transmitted address list contains a designated area to document the tracking numbers (or comparable information) collected and to inform the AG. The Contractor is obliged to deliver the materials on time (see point c. below). Subsequent deliveries must be avoided and may only be made in justified cases, such as temporary delivery difficulties for individual components. This must be communicated to the customer without delay. The Contractor shall bear all costs incurred for the services as well as the complete logistical processing of all deliveries at the delivery point. c. Delivery period The Contractor is obliged to deliver the commissioned materials free of charge within 12 weeks after notification of the delivery addresses. Deliveries during the respective holiday periods of the federal states may only be made after prior consultation with the respective institution.
