A10, VKE 132.1, Extension of Tank and Rest Stop Facilities Seeberg East and West - BGU, Chemical Analysis, Documentation - Remediation Area

… the A10, section 1, between the AD Barnim and the AD Spreeau. The forecast for 2025 continues to show a shortfall of around 15 truck parking spaces in this area. The Seeberg West tank and rest area is located on the A10 in the AD Barnim - AD Spreeau section, between AS Berlin-Marzahn and AS Berlin-Hellersdorf at operational km 12.300. This section of the A10 is six-lane. The object of the contract is the assessment of the building site and start-up advice with preparation and implementation of all excavation work, geotechnical and environmental laboratory tests as well as the preparation of the associated geotechnical and contaminated site reports for the remediation and expansion measures at the Seeberg East and Seeberg West tank and rest facilities. On the basis of existing documents, an excavation programme for the exploration of the building plot must first be developed and the procurement documents for the excavation work according to VOB must be prepared. The three work steps described below form the contractual basis for the provision of services. Each work step is provided with an independent execution period. Step 1 - Basic Determination and Exploration Concept • Evaluation of existing documents (old reports, maps, aerial photographs, contaminated sites register) • Coordination with client (AG) and planner on the scope of investigation • Determination of digestion points, digestion methods, sampling strategy • Creation, coordination and approval of the reconnaissance concept including the site plan of the reconnaissance points Step 2 - Preparation and execution of fieldwork • Obtaining permits and line information • Preparation of the construction schedule • Execution and monitoring of core drilling, small ram drilling and ramming probes • Geotechnical speeches on site • Documentation of all findings Step 3 - Laboratory tests and preparation of geotechnical reports • Initiation and monitoring of geotechnical laboratory tests and chemical analyses (grain distribution, consistency, shear strength, etc.) • Plausibility check of analysis results • Preparation, coordination and finalisation of geotechnical reports For further details, see Annex C02, Specifications.
