Jede Referenz muss mindestens folgende Angaben enthalten: Bezeichnung der Baumaßnahme, Auftraggeber, Ausführungszeitraum, Beschreibung der ausgeführten Leistungen, Umfang der Leistung, Wert der ausgeführten Leistung. Der Auftraggeber behält sich vor, die Referenzangaben zu überprüfen und hierzu Bestätigungen der Referenzauftraggeber anzufordern. Erfüllen die vorgelegten Referenzen die genannten Mindestanforderungen nicht, kann dies zum Ausschluss des Angebots wegen fehlender Eignung führen.
