Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue tuottaa hankinnan kohteen mukaisia palveluita myös omana toimintana. Hankinnalla täydennetään omaa tuotantoa. Tilaaja ei sitoudu tiettyihin tilaus- tai hankintamääriin, sillä hankinnan kohteen mukainen tarve ei ole ennalta tiedossa. Hankinta koskee työ- ja päivätoimintaa, joka toteutetaan erillisessä työ- tai päivätoiminnan toimintaympäristössä. Tilaaja voi järjestää palvelua myös muilla tuotantotavoilla, kuten asiakkaan asumisyksikössä toteutettavana toimintana, etäryhmätoimintana tai jalkautuvana toimintana. Tilaaja varaa oikeuden tuottaa/hankkia palvelua myös muilla tuotantotavoilla. Palvelut ja palvelujen tilaaminen on kuvattu tarkemmin liitteissä "Palvelukuvaus". Sopimuskausi on toistaiseksi voimassa oleva 1.1.2027 alkaen.
