Die Infrastruktur soll zwei Demonstrator-Konfigurationen unterstützen: • Urbaner Vertiport-Demonstrator zur Abbildung vertiportbezogener Betriebs- und Infrastrukturkonzepte in einem urban geprägten, modellhaften Umfeld. • Vertiport-Demonstrator am Flughafen zur Untersuchung der Integration vertiportbezogener Abläufe in eine bestehende Flughafen- bzw. Vorfeldinfrastruktur. Beide Demonstratoren dienen der Untersuchung von Start- und Landevorgängen, Bodenprozessen, Passagier- und Frachtprozessen, Sicherheits- und Überwachungsfunktionen, meteorologischer Erfassung, Energie- und Ladeprozessen sowie der Einbindung digitaler Dienste.
