The ProsperBlue Programme (formerly the Western Indian Ocean Governance Initiative - WIOGI), through the EU Action Stawi Bluu - Sustainable Blue Businesses in Tanzania, seeks to promote an inclusive, climate-resilient and sustainable Blue Economy along the Tanzanian mainland coast and Zanzibar. The Action is jointly co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as part of the Team Europe Initiative on Blue Economy for Job Creation and Climate Change Adaptation in Tanzania.
