Die im konstruktiven Ingenieurbau (Tragwerksplanung, Entwurfsplanung) anfallenden Planungsaufgaben sind mit den aktuell vorhandenen Werkzeugen nicht mehr wirtschaftlich und fehlerfrei zu bewältigen. Derzeitige Prozesse basieren teilweise noch auf reinen 2D-Zeichenprogrammen. Um die Planungsqualität zu sichern, gesetzliche BIM-Vorgaben zu erfüllen und die Projektabwicklung wirtschaftlich zu gestalten, ist die Beschaffung einer neuen Software dringend erforderlich.
