In Abhängigkeit vom Zeitpunkt der Bezuschlagung sollen für bis zu 50 U-Bahn-Fahrzeuge der Baureihe IK für die 1. Hauptuntersuchung neue bzw. aufgearbeitete Radsatzlager geliefert werden. Der mit Erstausrüstung durch den Fahrzeughersteller kombinierte Verbau der Marken SKF und FAG soll dabei u.a. vereinheitlicht werden.
